Strengthening the regional health architecture to promote country ownership and leadership is a key part of SPC's contribution to health in the Pacific. Its role is to provide a platform for regionally coordinated health policies in the region. The leadership at regional level is primarily provided by the Pacific Health Ministers Meeting (PHMM) and the Pacific Heads of Health Meeting (PHOH). SPC along with other partners support this process.
This page presents information on PHMM and PHOH, conferences, learning events and others that the Public Health Division has created and is maintaining in supporting SPC Member Countries to achieve their strategic health development plans, including in NCDs, communicable diseases, clinical services, health systems strengthening and universal health coverage.
Meeting reports from previous meetings are also available.
