She says now that borders are open and there is community transmission testing is a vitally important tool to help keep cases low.

Health experts from the Pacific Community’s (SPC) Public Health Division were recently deployed to Kiribati to assist with COVID-19 response.
As of the 11th May 2021, 9,889 people in Palau have received their second COVID-19 vaccination dose. This represents 72% of the estimated eligible population 18+ (13,750 people – SPC mid-year 2021 estimate).
