Webinar: Management of the Unanticipated Difficult Airway

This free webinar, Chaired by Dr David Pescod and presented by Dr Moira Rush is aimed at anaesthesia providers familiar with basic airway assessment and general anaesthesia where tracheal intubation may be required, as well as anaesthesia assistants.



The presentation will address the importance of thorough airway assessment and planning in every anaesthetic encounter and the need for locally appropriate guidelines for managing the unanticipated difficult airway. It will cover:

• The major findings of the National Audit Project (NAP4) and the implications for anaesthetic practice.
